For me as far as major cities go, I'd say:

1) Seattle
2) Portland, OR
3) Vancouver, BC / Victoria, BC
4) San Francisco / the Bay Area
5) Spokane
6) Boston
7) Calgary / Edmonton
8) Anchorage
9) Boise
10) Charlotte, NC / Raleigh, NC

I have a major tendency to favor the northwest over any other region in the US and Canada, although I do admire a few places outside of it, such as Boston and North Carolina. I can't exactly see myself living anywhere else in the world, although admittedly, I can only picture myself living in my top 8, where I'd probably only realistically consider my top 5.
