I know its just an opinion but China is, in my opinion the worst place to live and its number 4 on your list. There is a lot of pollution there. My list may not be any better though.

I have a major tendency to favor the northwest over any other region in the US and Canada, although I do admire a few places outside of it, such as Boston and North Carolina. I can't exactly see myself living anywhere else in the world, although admittedly, I can only picture myself living in my top 8, where I'd probably only realistically consider my top 5.
